DANSK DESIGNS - Iron arch

Cast iron Tiny Taper holder by Börje Rajalin for Dansk Designs in 1960s. Black cast iron candleholder for up to three Tiny Tapers. Each holder is slightly tilted away from the center, spreading out the candles like a fan. The bases are covered with smooth black enameled pads to avoid scratching to the furniture on which it stands.

Three different Tiny Taper holders were designed by Finish designer Börje Rajalin (initialed IBR), who was part of Quistgaards staff – and the Iron Arch is one of them.
