JAPAN - Cast iron candle holder

A hexagonal shaped candle holder by Japan in the 1960s for up to 12 Tiny Tapers. At each corner of the hexagonal shape the candle holders are decorated with small circular enamel dots, colored in bright colors.

The enameled dots and the holders for the tapers are placed in different layers, emphasizing the contrast between the rough sandy black cast iron and the smooth colorful enamel.
