DANSK DESIGNS - Iron arch

The Iron arch is designed by Börje Rajalin for Dansk Designs in the 1960s. Black cast iron candleholder for up to six Tiny Tapers. Each holder is slightly tilted away from the center, spreading the candles like a fan. The bases are covered with smooth black enameled pads to avoid scratching to the furniture on which it stands.

Three different models were designed by Finish designer Börje Rajalin (initialed IRB), who was part of Quistgaards staff – and the Iron Arch is one of them.
